The Best Site to Buy Challenge Coins

This is a very subjective question because not every site makes the same coins. Each site has different service and different response times. Even a Google search with the terms “The Best Site to Buy Challenge Coins” isn’t going to decide it for you even though we wish it was that simple. So how do you gauge the best site then? You can do it from experience or from word of mouth but to be honest most coins you see out there are not high quality or you are dealing with people that are just retailers and have no idea. You want better than that and how can you know what to look for? The following should help you:

1. The overall website – Does the site make them look like a solid company? Does it show you that they mean business? Does the website make you want buy form them because their qualiy shows through the site? Answer those and you can make your decision.

2. Do they have an 800 number? Can you contact them easy? Do they respond? Are they available when you need them? If you can’t establish connection with them then you have no reason to do business with the company.

3. Do the coins look great? Do they have a great selection? Do they add coins often? Do you feel like you can talk with them about their selection?

All these are great questions. What you decide is completely up to you. There is only a few websites that sell coins on today’s internet. We estimate 90% of the current websites do not provide good quality or a good experience in buying coins from them. There is a slim minority and the ones we recommend as being top notch are:

U.S. Challenge Coins
Challenge Coin Auctions

One is a giant website geared towards you as a collector while the other is auctions from many smaller sellers that might not have websites. We no longer recommend eBay as a buying ground simply because the quality of coins listed have deteriorated over the last few years and it’s just filled with garbage coins. We highly recommend research and if you know of a website that has value let us know and we will consider adding it to this list.
